We found out that my gma was having siezures - not strokes- however, she may have had a stroke to begin with. She had about 14 siezures yesterday and then one this morning that lasted about 20min. She's doing better as far as her mental state though. She was to the point that she didn't remember many people and she kept repeating things over and over. She also refused to go to the hospital. Well, my aunts finally forced her to go. If they hadn't, she would have died. She had her galbladder taken out today so please continue to keep her in your thoughts and prayers. My uncle had a siezure driving home from visiting my gma in the hospital. He was at a red light when it happened and a nurse in a car next to him saw it happen and she and her husband took him home! Amazing.
On a lighter note, I'm going off to Harding in 6 days! Email me at katicat10@aol.com if you want my Harding contact info or new cell number! I have cingular so let me know if you do too!. Anyone have college advice before I go?

Ahhh what a day...
I got up, laid out, watched AMC, read some Harry Potter (getting refreshed for the new book. 23 days baby!) and then later went to firehouse (Zane bought my dinner..awwww) and then on to the bowling alley with Seth, Keegan, Melissa, Zack, and Grant (who I just met today and who invited me to go boating w/ tomorrow). I really suck at bowling....I'm terrible. We bowled for about 2 hours and then Seth and I went to Walmart (and saw Grant there) and now I'm home! Fun fun. I hope you enjoyed my recap! Melissa...we were right about what my mom would say. :-/ Try to have fun anyway! ;) Say hey to Jen for me!
Tuesday I went to see Batman Begins w/ Keegan and Mom and Ty. It was AWESOME! I think I may see it again...
My doggy had surgery yesterday...:( He's bleeding a lot and has a cone around his neck and he looks really sad. Poor boy.

I've had such a busy fun weekend. Thursday night Mom and I went to H'ville to visit Keegs at Firehouse and go to Coldstone Creamery and to Target. I got some really cute earings to go with a new outfit of mine and a tablecloth for mine and Julia's dorm. Friday I went to Decatur w/ Mom and Ty and we stopped by Dad's work and left Ty there and then Mom and I went to O'Charlie's and then to the mall. I got some bermuda shorts at Gap. They're cute. After we finished getting groceries we got me a hair appointment at Graffiti in Somerville for Sat. Saturday I cleaned a lot of the day and then I went to tan and got my hair cut and then came home to finish getting ready for the OC party. It was way fun. We played badmitton in the dark and then finally came inside to watch the OC. Some of the guys played poker. There were some helium balloon fights. :) Very fun. Sunday, Mom and I visited Seth's church. I really enjoyed it and I met a lot of people that are going to Harding/their kids are going to Harding. Skadi wasn't there though b/c she was at Impact. Later when Mom and I got home we gave Dad his father's day gift. We got him a bush-blade and he really liked it. Mom and I saw him outside whacking down little trees and stuff...it was pretty funny. Too bad he cut himself trying to put it back in the packaging. lol. Silly Dad.

I got the new White Stripes CD yesterday. Very different than the others...
I've been thinkin about my doorbell. When yah gonna ring it? When yah gonna ring it?
I called Keegan when I got it...I was excited.
I'm going to AR tomorrow! It's gonna be awesome....I can just feel it...
I got a new book yesterday! It's called the A-List. I hope it's good. It's on the NYT Bestseller's series list. That's gotta be a good sign.
Magen got me to watch Everwood the other day. It was pretty good I have to admit. :) Not as good as the OC though! ;)
Talked to Seth yesterday. Funny funny. We're so goofy
Got my swim suit from Nina yesterday too. :) Now I can swim in AR!

Hey guys! If you love the OC then you’re going to love this: I’m having an OC party! Probably June 18th. I’m trying to keep this pretty small but if you love the OC, then come! But even if you don’t, we’ll get you hooked! We’ll probably watch some old episodes and listen to some of the OC Mixes and eat of course. If you all want we can get here pretty early and play Frisbee or something outside before it gets dark! Let me know what you think and if you have any ideas just let me know. 7:05 pm - Too much spare time

Lately I have had way too much time around the house. And though my parents prefer me to be at home I much rather be accomplishing something like buying new shoes or catching all the movies that I've been wanting to see. I think, instead, I'll begin my first novel to keep me occupied while I'm at home, in the house because the bugs are so terrible, all summer. I mean, either that or get a job. But I have this nice new laptop to myself and it's aching to be used for something other than checking e-mail and updaing LJ. I mean, today I read nearly an entire novel (not that that isn't enjoyable)and I've watched way too much of the OC. I need to be productive...hmm learning guitar would be nice, or yeah I think I'll just write a book. I'll update you all on how it's going. I just don't know how I'll get started...hmmm....Well have a great evening.

So I'm updating from my new laptop in my room! Can you believe it?! Magen is sitting here watching the OC for the first time....I'm so gonna get her hooked on it! YAY! Have you ever been to the Sweet Dreams Cafe? It is unbelievable! Magen took me there and to Chilie's for graduation! Today is a good day!
